Program Overview

A jump-start on the spring season

SCRC March Break Camp is open to athletes with at least one season of on-water experience. The camp supports a wide range of skill levels - reinforcing fundamental skills and building confidence so athletes head into their spring high-school season comfortable, capable, and ready to move boats. More experienced athletes get an opportunity to refine technique, increase training volume, and challenge themselves alongside motivated peers.

Spring-season head start

Reinforce fundamentals at a manageable training volume - confident, capable, ready to move boats.

SCRC coaching, full safety

Certified coaches in CPR/First Aid, fully equipped coach boats with all required on-water gear.

Mar 16 – 20
Five-day camp (typical week)
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Daily
On-water + dryland blend
Technique-focused rows, erg work, video review

What’s new for 2027

For 2027 we’ll be hosting two March Break options: a local camp at SCRC on Henley Island, and a camp down south for athletes looking to train in warmer water.
