Documents & Forms
Safe Sport policies, concussion protocol, on-water safety codes, registration waivers, and club operations documents — all in one place.
Safe Sport policies
Policies and resources that promote a safe sport environment for the SCRC rowing community. The Rule of Two is a leading practice: two responsible adults (a coach, parent, or screened volunteer) present with any participant, ensuring all interactions are open, observable, and justifiable.
Concussion management & return to play
SCRC and Row Ontario are committed to concussion awareness, prevention, and appropriate management. Any athlete with a suspected concussion should be immediately removed from practice and not return to activity until medically assessed.
On-water safety codes
Key safety guidelines and protocols for rowing on Martindale Pond and at away regattas. Water-temperature-specific codes apply to all on-water sessions.
Registration waivers and consent forms
Please read all registration documents carefully — they are legal agreements covering your participation in SCRC and Rowing Canada Aviron activities. Select the waiver based on your age (17-and-under or 18-and-older).
Workplace policies
Policies and procedures designed to promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace environment. Approved by the SCRC Board of Directors, effective April 1, 2025.
