Summer Junior Competitive — Expression of Interest

Returning SCRC athletes: already rowing with the club this spring? Fill out the EOI form for summer 2026. You don’t need to re-register. New athletes who didn’t race the spring season should use the full registration steps below.

Program Overview

Train year-round. Race the highest level.

The SCRC Junior Competitive program is for U17 and U19 athletes pursuing high-performance rowing. Participants demonstrate strong commitment, train consistently, and embrace the high-performance lifestyle. Athletes train year-round, race the Ontario circuit, and compete at the Canadian Henley, CSSRA Championships, and (for top crews) provincial and national selection regattas.

Six days a week in-season

High-volume training year-round. Lift, erg, and on-water sessions structured around the racing calendar.

Race the full Ontario circuit

CSSRA, Brock Invitational, Canadian Henley, and provincial / national selection regattas.

Pathway to national team

Top crews move on to RCA NextGen, U19 / U23 World Championships, and Olympic-stream programs.

New Athlete Registration

New to SCRC Junior Competitive?

Athletes who didn’t race the SCRC spring season need to complete the full registration below. Already a current SCRC member? Use the Summer EOI form at the top of this page instead.

First time rowing with SCRC?

New athletes need a Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) account before their first session. It takes 5 minutes, and the one-time $76.50 RCA + Row Ontario fee covers you for the full calendar year.

Complete the SCRC athlete registration form

Fill out the under-18 Jotform with your athlete's details, parent contact, emergency contact, and waiver acknowledgements.

Pay your program fee by e-Transfer

Send your e-Transfer to scrcpayments@gmail.com with security answer "rowing". In the memo, put athlete name + Junior Competitive.

Talk to the coach

Junior Competitive is selection-based. Your coach will confirm crew assignment after early-season testing.

Returning for Summer 2026?

Fill out the Expression of Interest form. Returning athletes don’t need to re-register.
